He's got his 'Senior Mechanic' busy working on my car - trying to unravel the mystery. Apparently he's thinking that the speed sensor on one of the wheels went bad and caused all the other failures. I must confess, I'm pretty technologically challenged - he tried to explain that there's a speed sensor for each wheel - as a part of traction control (?) and that he's thinking if one of them went bad, it would cause other system failures. He said he'd call me as soon as they know something....... I'll keep you posted :)

Service manager called to tell me they have the sensor replaced and feel that this has cured all the problems. They want to keep my car tomorrow and drive it thoroughly to make sure nothing else creeps up. Hopefully, Mr. Prune will be back in my garage tomorrow :) Stay tuned for further developments.

Some other Audi mechanic keeps calling, looking for advice on fixing a silver self-raising A8L, that smells like Cheez inside :)
j/k I hope we both receive good news about our cars this week.
