has anyone else had a message displayed in between their speedometer and rpm's saying when their next service was due

when i start the car, and put my foot on the brake and put it in drive it says next service due in 1700 miles

Once you reach the service mileage, it just displays "Service!" there. Apparently, the dealer resets it once you get service since the display is now gone.

Must be what those shark-fin antenaes are for - secret Audi communications...

OR, maybe they were twins, seperated at birth!

Its headed back to the shop this Wed. and we can add "strange acting " wipers to the list which goes on and on and on and..................!

I am anxious to get my car back. My daughter doesn't want to be seen in the Caddy & my son says he enjoys that big comfy couch feeling of the back seat - worries me a little :)

My car is a few miles under 5K and I've never had a message yet about service. It's at the dealer today getting the 5K service done, so I guess I won't have the chance to see a service message for another year plus ;-)

That corresponds to the normal service intervals. On the other hand, if you're around 8300 miles, the dealer didn't set the interval properly.
