was toast and it was being replaced. heres the latest on that. It turns out that the taillight circuit runs through the rear airbag circuit to which my DVD system is attached!! Yep, the wires have to be cut and I need a new install of the DVD wiring! All I can say is "Oh well"!!

Would watching Ronin set off the airbags? LOL

To fix this LED circuitboard problem, the entire center console had to be removed(Im thrilled about that!!)thus the connection had to be broken. If its just a power connection, we`re o.k. If its also the audio/video conn. it will have to be re-wired!

When I hit the brakes, the airbag blows out of the left rear lense. The airbag only activates if a Lexus is within 10 feet! LOL
