working. . . once manually partially close it the electronics will finish the job. . perhaps the little button one pushes to close the lid went south. . . you can all imagine how embarrassing it was to have to manually close the trunk in a public parking lot yesterday.

After pressing the button on the keyfob about 187 times for it to open the other day, my wife mentioned in that less-than-subtle wifely way, "you know, you could actually open it by hand."
Next thing you know she'll be expecting me to get up out of my chair to change the television channel.

that it will find its way into an A8L in Alabama! LOL. With a backseat so large, why use the trunk? I mean, you dont live in Philly so you really dont need it!

it usually takes two hits of the remote button to disengage the Silver Bullets hind quarters.

you expect it to actually do the task. My trunk buttons seem to work just fine :) <yeah> However, my espresso machine is driving me crazy. It doesn't want to dispense hot water - Randy keeps saying, why don't you just use the microwave, instead of pushing the button 100 times and cursing the whole time? But there's a button there... it's supposed to work... d*mn-it, I'm going to *make* it work!!!
Now if I could just remember to push the little button to release the gas filler door. (before I walk around the car to the pump)

But then, I'm not sure I'd want to understand those deep thoughts ;) sometimes ignorance is bliss!

$1,500 for damages to the counter top. . .also have to replace it and the coffee maker periodically because of mineral build up from "hard water". . . any white, hard deposits on it?

It's a Saeco that we just got in January. The hot water button just hasn't worked right since we got it. In the beginning it worked most of the time, but we're down to about 5% of the time now. Otherwise, we love the machine, I just need to get on the phone and see what I need to do to resolve the issue. If it wasn't brewing espresso - Now that would be a real emergency :)

Thank goodness it didn't take a fire to convince us :) Mr. R, you replaced the self-igniting model with another krups?
