(about $6k) less than the A8L - so maybe the MSRP will be around $62.5k when it arrives in the states? It gives a list price of the A8 SWB of $66,590 (vs. $68,500 for the L). Dealers already have the order guide listing available options and colors D3AeighT 04-21-2004, 12:22 PM doing the writing, although he seemed relatively rational compared to the "hugging" BMW'rs at motor trend, etc. CaseyH 04-21-2004, 03:25 PM no.radar 04-22-2004, 04:06 AM nirad 04-22-2004, 10:44 PM One day back in November, I had the chance to drive my aunt's S500 and my dad's A8L on the same day. The Benz just felt like a boat- it drove like a Buick. The A8 felt like a large sports sedan. They were surprisingly different. The only thing I liked about the Benz were its large side mirrors. Mr. Ricco 04-23-2004, 07:22 AM quiet, obviously well built. . had no complaints except it was boring. . . the A8 is a driver's machine. . . and looks soooooo much better. |
