for what they can do! Every once in a while, when my wipers are on slow speed, they stop in the middle on the way down and park themselves! Oh boy! The dealer has not been able to duplicate this. Also, I am getting a rather strange sound from the left front suspension, when cold and in Dynamic, when I roll over a speed bump or hit an undulation in the road surface. I am getting ready to pile this onto the "advisor". Still happy with the car but its beginning to get "long in the tooth". I know that we have a dentist onboard somewhere! LOL

I know a good Lexus dealer. I'm not sure what he gives for loaners since I have no occasion for them. It's so boring having a car that runs right.

I am promised that when I need an oil change etc., they will come to my home 20 miles away, drop off a loaner, pick up my car, service it and return it. I am waiting to see if this is really true. But I have another 5,000 miles to go before that oil change.

I assume this policy is not SOP for all Lexus dealers but I can't imagine what it would be like for Audi to try it.

I post this comment for perspective, which is somewhat lacking in these analyses: why would anyone experiencing chronic headaches and lost time with one $75,000+ car trade it in on another headache from the same maker? Why not open up those horizons and get bored?

Does it usually come up when you first drive the car each day or if you haven't driven it for a couple of hours? I think it's an internal shock noise before the suspension warms up.

because IMO they are relatively, well lets say, minor? I have a certain amount of confidence that the 05 will be a somewhat more "reliable" car if just for the fact that the 04 has given the factory some "experience" with it!! Its through this philosophy that I can bring myself to a W12 or 05 A8L if I make a change at all. So far, the advocate and the dealer seem quite concerned to keep me happy and I cannot ask for more than that. BTW, they will pick up and deliver. I assume that they meant the car! LOL Go `canes! Ooops, wrong season!

I'll get my service done early next month. I just rolled over 4500 miles and I'm kinda getting a notion of doing a road trip up to Colorado later in May.

the oil in the Corvette every 3000 miles even though its Mobil 1. I have the old "oil mentality" which probably is not relevant anymore. Old habits die hard!

It doesn't make the sound every day, but when it does, it certainly doesn't sound normal. I'll have her checked out at 15,000mi.

Ill have it checked out this Friday. It is sporadic and only happens when first using the car.
