Hi, I was told Mr. Ricco can tell me when the A8 is coming to the states. I was at the NYC auto show and Audi rep told me the standard A8 will be coming i n the fall of 2005, yet some press reports have said the fall of 2004. Do you know when we can expert it here. Thanks

that some orders have been placed for the A8 for arrival THIS fall. Lets keep this a secret! LOL I should know more tomorrow!

fiction. . .based on passed experience. . . it will be here when you see in a dealership. I have a theory on the long vs. short versions. . the 740 attracted me but the 740 IL stopped by heart. I think I will have the same reaction to the S version of the D3. It is my guess these cars are originally designed in the long version. . so to "cut them down" they mess with the design lines.

hard to put words to it. I do think that Audi will make the A8 just look 6" shorter and will be able to retain it's integrity..Also, have you ever noticed the window shades in the 740i look weird with that little tiny one trying to shade the little window in the rear seat.

it was in the back. sort of a pearl purple color. forgot the name of it but the audi rep said it was new. i still like the long wheelbase. but to each his own :)
