I read a little thread of yours..... there's so many to choose from :) You were drooling over the chance to buy an RS6, but you chose true love and a condo instead. (right choice by the way) I think I met your Bay area twin brother yesterday!

I'm driving my loaner RS6 in the costco parking lot, cruising for a parking spot. Driving past the entrance, gotta stop and let people cross the traffic lane with their loaded shopping carts.... twiddle thumbs.... trying to be patient... When a tall gentleman pushing his cart looks at the front of my car and comes to a dead stop right in front of me. Okay?? He stands there for maybe 30 seconds, I'm thinking, is he having some sort of health problem.... Then he pushes the cart around the side of the car, looks up with a huge grin and points. He continues to walk around the car, I slowly start to pull away, as I look in the rear-view mirror, he is still standing in the middle of the traffic, his abandoned shopping cart in the middle of the road, and he's just watching me drive away.

I'm just glad he wasn't hanging around the car when I came out of the store - then it starts getting a little creepy.

So did Randy pick up some hot women in the A8!!!!!!

He didn't confess to any hot women! He's still head-over-heels for his mistress (RS6) he comes in from the garage every evening and still has that silly grin on his face. He actually had a guy take pictures of the car one day sitting in traffic at an on-ramp to the freeway.

Course, that would explain why we're all hanging out here...

I've only had one serious ogling incident in my A8 - a BMW full of silicon-valley-techies pulled up next to me and all glued their faces to the windows as they drove next to me - I should have stuck my tongue out at them :p

And just to throw one more in....

I was coming back home from Gilroy this afternoon and passed a Dodge Ram carrying dirt bikes and the passenger did a quick double take as we passed by each other.

I let them take a good look at the car a couple of times. Then as I passed them for the last time the passenger mouthed: "Nice Ride!"

I have never had a car that got more looks than the RS6.

The mistress, I think I'll keep her... :-)

Back off bud.... she's only 13!
