pff.. that was a long 4 months :)
we were going to order it in december but hey..
so it's going to be a D3 swb 3.7 (in holland you don't even need a 3.7, the country is as flat as it gets.)
black/amaretto/black
enough options incl. fingerprint recognition (i love that option :) )
there is a small chance that we will get the showroom model, but i doubt it.
I can say I'm friggin excited.. :)

The 3.7 is nice indeed.
When I drove here (in Rotterdam), with my dads A8, it was extremely hard to stick to the 50 km/h speed limit.
Sapik, my recommendation to you is to have the car detuned, as you'll constantly have to hold your foot off the accelerator or use the cruise control on main roads....why oh why did Audi make the throttle so sensitive.

or advanced key..
but that isnt a huge problem..
if we order the car it will take about 8 weeks..
if we take this one well have it in 2 weeks.
the females in this house will have to decide :)
btw i did not check what the name of the color was.. but it looked dark in the shadow but under sunlight it was kind of dark purple..
interiour was black.
black/amaretto/black is still nicer imo..
oh well..
My english is getting cwapie

The one you looked at sounds like it's Oyster Gray, a very nice color - but then I'm a bit biased.
If you can get the car of your dreams in 8 weeks, I'd place the order. I also like the amaretto interrior, sadly, I've only seen it in pictures. My salesman said it looks awesome in a black car!

Randy took several co-workers to lunch - said he had three 6+ foot guys in the back seat and they all fit quite comfortably. Nice!

ofcourse that has no special meaning for the US market :)
I did like the Oyster grey (thanks :) )
But black has something special in my opinion..
choices, choices..
we'll see..
Also the problem with ordering is that I will probably be on vacation in Turkey around june/july and it'll have to wait at the dealer for a little time.
I could'nt live with myself :P
btw.
If i get the one that's at the dealer right now i'll probably get a decent deal but it has the 18" 5 spoke's.. i looove the 19" wheels
probably the most beautiful wheels ever..

My dealer told me that September would be the earliest I could get mine - I guess that's what I get for falling in love with a car that's half-a-world away :)
I too prefer the 19" over the 18's. (although I haven't experienced the joy of washing them yet - thank goodness Randy just got a new wheel brush) My dealer also gave me a 'deal' for taking a car from their lot. The salesman said they gave me the largest discount on an A8L ever! Course, I think he's very good at stretching the truth...
You have a tough decision to make - wow, can I relate!

MB 420, Jags, etc. In this case, Mr.Plum was on the lot so bought it. . . . I now love the color. . . never seen a color that can go from "black, to grey, to purple" before. Truly a color you can't get tired of because it is forever changing. Good Luck with your purchase.
