What are some pros and cons of buying a used cpo auid vs a brand new? (since its audi)
Found a 4.2L S-Line 05 A6? What u guys think? its under 30k & under 40k miles?
and is it true that this c6 model is not tuner friendly?
Thanks for your input.

maintenance history and possible abuse. I have had my 05 4.2 for 43 months and 49K miles, and it is a fun car to drive. There were some gremlins in the begining, especially the MMI. Mkae sure the MMI has been upgraded. You should also make sure that all of the TSBs have been performed.

I generally look for a nearly new, low mileage car when buying. I also avoid buying a new model in its first year as the "gremlins" need to be worked out for any new model. So for the C6 A6, I would look at an '06 or newer year. Currently, I'm considering a '07 A6 Avant that is fully equipped to replace my '96 A6 Avant. With the current rebates and price reductions on '08's, low mileage '07's are now in the upper $30Ks to mid-$40Ks. '06s are even lower.

myself.
if you buy new and hold for 10 years, you might do ok. because of the low resids (all the luxury brands dropped their resids in July), even the leases aren't all that bad.
it's cost of repair. so far the C6 doesn't look too bad, but it's all the little things that would pee you off....nothing shoud peel away, etc. i don't think i've seen a trans. fail.
i almost went with a C6 this year when trading my A6, but the service and customer service in my area was lacking, so i decided to skip. i am excited with some of the new Audi stuff coming down the pipe though.
