Anyone got a v. 5 Nav DVD laying around? Fleabay is full of V.4, but won't help me with the update and I don't want to drop $200 at Navteq with v.9 supposedly set for release this summer.

And my dealer didn't complain because Audi reimburses them for TSB's. They are willing to eat the labor charge and upgrade me to 4140 free of charge, but I have to pay for the DVD Nav disk. So if you either have a way around the 750/1070 issue, I would appreciate it, but I don't want to fork over $200 for ver.8 (all I can order from NavTeq) when ver. 9 will release with the 2009 models I have been told. So if I can find a v5 or v6 on the cheap, it will save me some cash. KAK S4GARO 04-08-2008, 01:59 PM ColaSC 04-29-2008, 12:15 PM I just bought an off-lease 2006 A6. Prior owner pulled the Nav DVD (why, I don't know). My MMI is 1070, wanting to update to 4140. Dealership is quoting $175 to update. Are you saying that they have to provide me with a new Nav DVD when they perform the 4140 MMI update? pierreb 04-29-2008, 01:33 PM buy a new nav disc yourself. Or you could try asking here or even the dealer if they have an old one you can have. all you need is v5 or better. |
