this is pre-suspension setup. The HR rear sway bar came in yesterday and i am expecting the KW v3 coilovers tomorrow. I hope to install this coming week, will post pix.

Anyone know how to get salt out of floor mats?? my front mats are horrible... i think someone once said white vinegar? will that work?

enjoy

a professional before you alter the color of your mats, if not you will have created the newest in car carpet sensations (salt&vinegar mats...).

Your car looks very nice...probably a releif after being dusted in salt the past few months. Did you perform a full detail or just wash and wax? If so which wash, and which wax are you using?

there is a detailer right down the street i'll go see what they say about the mats.

I did the full detail myself, i wasn't very sophisticated as far as the detailing though.

-vacuumed out the car
-cleaned inside with Meguiars products (wipes and such)
-cleaned inside of windows
-semi-detailed the engine compartment
-cleaned the wheels with some tire foam cleaner/shiner product (can't remember name) worked well
-used the same Meguiars wipes to clean the tires as they leave no residue
-then ran the car through a local car wash that also has wax and seal as part of the program.
-i then used microfiber cloths to rid of excess water that wasn't blown away in the wash.
-Lastly i applied Meguiars spray wax: detailer finish.

I plan to really sit down and wax the entire car with some liquid wax in a couple weeks but i had a small window of time today so had to make do...

use my all season mats all the time. They look much sportier than the crappy Audi mats you get with the car.

....after visiting that forum i will never take a car through an automatic wash again. Ignorance is bliss, now my life is even more complicated. haha.
