If you know your "dealer number" which is on any invoice on your dealer's lot or in the Audi Dealer Directory in any A4 owners manual packet, you can plug it in to the following website and find out the status of ANY vehicle allocated to that dealership! You can also check the status of the ships enroute to the Houston Port as well as check upon transit times to various regions of the country. This is an INTERNAL VW/AUDI site and is AWESOME. I would probably not use the "send us mail" option as we do not want VW/Audi to shut down access to this site from us "outsiders"<p>The dealer number referred to is on the "sticker" of any vehicle at the dealer right above the Gas Mileage chart. It says "Dealer: XXXXXX and then lists the dealer name and address. The XXXXXX portion (varies obviously) is what you input. I think it only lists out the cars enroute.<p>Kirk

Jay, as I understand it (from dealer) this stuff is the status at Port of Houston (TX).<br>The cars should move accross the chart as they arrive and leave there.<br>alloc date = Date they arrived there or were supposed to arrive(Houston)<br>Delay Date = new arrival date<br>Complete date = When processing at port is complete by shippers/ audi<br>Release date = date car is released to shipper (truck or train)<br>Ship date = date car is actually shipped to dealer<p>My dealer says cars shipped 11/8 are already here - so it takes about 4-5 days after shipped

Anyone know the Dealer Number for Laurel Audi in Westmont, IL (Chicago Area)? I have an A4 ordered from them, but live too far away to drop by to get the number from the paperwork on one of their in-stock cars.
