The Service interval post reminded me. Has anyone attempted to do their own S6 oil change. I put my S6 on the lift and I can not find how to remove the bottom panel easily. Any tricks? Not much room from above to even see oil filter. I'm old school and will be stressing going 10,000 miles without an oil/filter change. My Z06 has 6700 miles on it and I've done 4 oil/filter change. It's been on the track twice, I not that anal. But it would be nice to maybe change it every 5000 miles, myself. Thanks...

they will change the oil/filter, etc. and do all the "usual" checks around the car. they will also rotate your tires and do a software upgrade for the ecu. I just had mine done a couple of weeks ago. After the first one, you pay for these changes (at Audi mandated intervals..unless you got the maintenance package) so I can see how you might want to try DIY. Good luck!

I have the maintenance package. I was just concerned going from 5000 to 15,000 miles without one. I have a lift so lifting the car is a non issue. I fact on my Z I let the oil drain from the block and dry sump over night, then replace filter and oil. May take me a total of 10 minutes. I guess I have to go to the dealer and have them show me how. Wishful thinking, I know...LOL
