The gas gauge has started acting strange at times showing empty when fuel still remains. I searched the forum and it looks like a few of you have also had this problem. Any new info on how / if it was fixed? I'm having them do the 25k while it is there and replace a tire (see previous XM post.) Any TSB's I should bring up as well? I already had the MMI update done but it was a while ago back when it required the Audi rep to come to the dealership. Is there any reason why I should have them do it again to get the latest version?
2005 A6 3.2 with pretty much everything now including XM.

33.6.0 fixes minor bugs over 27.4.0 from what I've been told...it didn't introduce any new ones that I can tell, so it's pretty safe to do.

Especially if the BT capabilities are enhanced since I'm about to get a new Treo or BB.

They said it was not the fuel sensors, although they acknowledged replacing them in others. Instead, they updated the instrument cluster programming. Could someone pull TSB 2011846/3?
I also asked them to make sure that I had the most recent MMI software and gave them 2015136/1. They told me when I picked it up that I already had the most recent version but I don't believe them. Remind me how to check please <nevermind>. Dang, looks like I have 27.4.0. What's the difference between that and 33.6.0? Thanks.
Oh yeah, they also did the recall TSB for replacing the fuel filter.

the difference between 33.6.0 and 27.4.0 are minor so you're not losing out a whole lot, but they should do it anyway...they're being lazy in my opinion.
