In addtion to the 997 tips, I also took this boards advice and tinted the windows. I picked the lightest shade available.... It's a sharp car and has alot of admirers....

Hi there. Going today to have the 997 tips installed. Any suggestions?

Here's what's transpired thus far:

1) removed original tips, found that the ends of the exhaust pipes are flared, so cut them off
2) found that the mufflers were too far towards the outside edge of the car, so considered having pipes made.
3) heard from quattrings that there is an adjustment for the mufflers in the center under the trunk that you can adjust. That only gives you about an inch, so he had to cut a longer groove, which fixed that problem
4) I assume that the hangers will then have to be adjusted.
5) the adjustment rings inside the 997 tips were removed by quattrings for his car to make them fit better.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

David
