not great range, lots of falsies. I'm coming off of an old Bel 855sti. I just ordered the Bel RX65 - will report back later.
I am interested in other peoples feedback.
TIA

On a number of alerts, it seemed to me that my old 855 gave me more advanced warning. I do not mount the valentine high up but rather low down on the windshield. I know they recommend different but I don't want it out in plain sight.
My other beef with it is the lack of ease in monitoring alerts. I don't like the small size of the letters of the radar bands and they are not illuminated at night. The audio alerts are not intuitive for me. I found my old 855 much better, it verbally indicated the band and made me feel the urgency to slow down by clicking when it detected strong signals. I was able to understand alerts and I knew which ones I had to respond to. With the valentine they all sound the same to me. I also find myself watching the Valentine too much, something I did not have to with the Bel. Maybe I need more drive time with the unit.
I just placed an order for the Bel RX65; I'm hoping it feels and sounds like my old 855.
