The MMI on my 2006 A6 has suddenly stopped working -- it appears to be getting no power. (It was fine when I drove to work; didn't come on when I started up to leave at the end of the day.) Screen is black; no MMI button indicators are lit. I tried the reboot sequence shown in the manual, but no response. I checked the user manual to see if there's a fuse I might replace, but MMI is not listed among the many fuses. Anyone know which fuse to check, or have other suggestions for bringing it back to life before I drag it to the dealer? Many thanks.

Which is what they had to do in this case. And then they had to replace part of it again, when the thing went into reboot -- even when the car wasn't running -- and drained the battery....

All resolved now, but no fun.
