View Full Version : Is there any way to view tire pressures with the TPMS?

I looked through the user manual and played with the MMI system and couldn't find any setting that would display the tire pressures. It seems stupid that Audi didn't enable this function in U.S. cars. Does the TPMS only indicate low pressure and stay quiet otherwise? Maybe I'm just missing something.

i spoke with a tech at my dealership about this and he said since the gov't only requires that if you have the monitoring system it should only notify the driver of a problem (not when everything is a-OK). The 05 models can recall tire pressure via a nice gui display but the 06+ models only engage the monitoring system (no neat display of all wheels and tire pressure). :(

Why would they take the time and effort to remove a feature? Maybe the pressure gauge isn't that accurate?

Or I don't know how to do it.

My Brother can view individual pressures thru the MMI on his '05 A8L, however whent the warning went off in my sister's '06 A6 he couldn't show her which tire. And I was looking at my TPMS on my new Q7 and it looks pretty generic as well. -

Can you help me out, how do you get it to display the individual pressures? Thanks in advance.

different type sensor they use on the A6 that saved them $15 a tire probably.
