This may be a horrible question and I apologize but I am coming out of a '03 A4 and the degree at which the A6 mirror dips is terrible. I cannot even see the curb unless I sit really high. Anyone know if this is managed by the MMI or are we just out of luck with how far it moves. The A4 gave me a great view.

You can set the mirror anyway you want. Put the vehicle in reverse then position the mirror however you want it, be it up down left or right. Then do a memory set, you know press set then the number of your memory setting be it 1 or 2. After that return the vehicle to park and test it to see if it works by putting the vehicle back into reverse.

If it works, it definitely gets the "cool tip of the week" award.
