I have installed those LED indicators (rear). It works fine and with no trouble "functionaly". Now that we all agree that the new A6 has got this "intelligent" electrical system.
Now, how do I overcome this flickering? It look odd at night!! Is there a way to trick the system?

One of my aftermarket license plate bulbs had to be replaced after 6 months and as it went out, the remaining 4 (of 6) LEDs started flickering...

OEM bulb wattage so that the onboard computer senses full wattage...
LEDs consume very little power.

I am sorry 4 my bad english.

There are LED-bulbs 19in1 (19LEDs in 1 socket).
If you apply this you have to install a resistor 220 Ohm / 1 Watt parallel to the LED to prevent alarm from FIS.

Okay. WHat I meant is the bulb with amber color for the rear indicator light. Anyways, all what was said is good, however what am incountering is at night and when no light is on but the car is running, the license plate lights flicker
for once every almost 40-70 seconds! So does the indicator bulb, it goes like clockwise, right-center-left in a wink of an eye!!
Any solution? coz no resistor could help!!
