Anybody have any suggestions for removing the stickers from the sunvisors of my new A6? I tried some 3M adhesive cleaner/remover without success. Thanks.

which I'll bet they are, then they are not coming off. Some dude on one of the other forums had luck with alcohol and rubbing, but some others have said that does not work for everyone.

Just curious, why remove them, they are rare visible -- I bet the removal area will look pretty funky afterwards, worse, even than the stickers.

Just peel them off. Don't use any chemicals, that will make things much worse. Some patience at a red light or two and they are all gone. Because the visor in the A6 is cloth, it's easy. It's a huge pain in the @$$ in my S4 - I had no chance with the B7.

I have just been through this with my '07 A6 - it takes forever and a lot of patience, but I wouldn't run the risk of any liquids. I asked a local dealership and they could not suggest anything. I found that by peeling from the top down, they came off in larger chunks.

they are not the stickers like on the 01 model, that peeled right off. I have read that newer cars have them applied so that they are not removable.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll live with them for now.

Between our house and the shopping mall - about 5 red traffic lights - and they both were gone. If you want, you can look for yourself :)

There's a place in England that sells European visors (no stickers). Price isn't bad. I'll include a link later (I'm away from home for a few days).

I can see those stickers on the upturned visor alright. Did you remove those or the larger ones on the flip side.

But I am quite certain that the other side would be just as easy to remove, because it's still the same fabric and type of sticker. You just see them less (not unless you flip down the visor).

This place sells the European versions (no stickers). I have NOT purchased from them, so I can't speak for price, service or delivery.
