When did Audi discontinue the full coverage maintenance. Is it still good for 2006 models - or was it last year? May just get me a 2006 demo tomorrow. 5000 miles on the ticker equals $9000 off the sticker. What do you all think?

I think Audi / Mercedes are missing the boad by doing away with the free maintenance program while BMW continues theirs. This is a great program for all customers, especially lease customers.

Would be buying. I am just about to leave the house to get the old '96 BMW detailed in anticipation of going to get the new (well sorta) '06 A6 3.2Q. The original price was 49940 marked down $9000 to 40940 with 5000 miles on the odometer.

I'll check the car out and see what is up. May come home with it today, may not.

I just bought my 3.2Q last week. Sticker at $51k, bought new at $41k, no miles.

Would be interested to know which dealer did that for you and how your car was optioned. Here in Dallas, most dealers were doing $2-3k under invoice (per edmunds.com) on sedans. The deal you got looks to be about $6k under invoice.

Audi of Rochester Hills, MI. Unfortunately the deal ain't done yet. They want to really lowball my trade, they aren't willing to give me their promotional APR of 2.9%. And I'd love to see the TTL go away. But bottom line is that I ain't willing to trade my car for their price and I can't afford to suck down a 6.15% APR.

The A6 has the Sunroof Pack, Premium Pack and Cold Weather Pack. I like it alot but I can't say I love it just yet.

On Monday the agent said he'd try to see about a different estimate for my trade and I will check on different financing...but I don't see this deal happening.

I've used them before on my trades to get a buy bid. This is really helpful to keep the dealer from playing games. Might be worth you time to check them out. Don't see a CarMax in MI, but maybe they something similar up there. Good luck on your deal!

2006 A6 3.2's were being blown out at 10k below sticker in July. Dont know whether the 6k incentive still exists in August. 9k below sticker for a demo is a bad deal. I bought mine 10k below sticker with 11 miles on the odometer.
