There is an engineer driving around in the Bosch-sponsored A6 prototype, debadged, of course, but with "diesel powered" stickers on the windows (small) and a bosch euro-plate in the front.

nice looking ride, I really like the new body styling.

Couldn't snap pics, when I tried to, he pulled away at about 130mph plus! My touareg just wouldn't give me that kinda sugar...

Rumor has it also that they have the new hydrogen powered hybrid roaming the norcal roads, apparently sacramento's hot environs make the perfect testing ground!

It was!

The rear end was sleeker...like the new Mercedes cars...damn I wish I coulda snapped that pic.

It also looked "smaller" and a bit sportier than the current model, although my view inside the car (from the higher vantage point of the touareg) indicated it was the same size inside.

Looks just like that A5 in terms of styling, only it was a 4 door model.

It's the 08/09 A6!
