It sounds great but needs a thump. Are there any outputs on the bose amp? or from the cd changer? has anyone installed a subwoofer in there A6 and if so, how? any info will help.. thanks!

Unlike the C5, which has a sub in the trunk, the C6 only has a couple of woofers in the doors. I agree that bass can be lacking sometimes, even when maxed out. And it's almost impossible to expand or alter the factory system thanks to the optical interconnects and lack of analog inputs and outputs. I've had my '05 for over a year and still can't connect an iPod. Thanks Audi.

I've just looked through the wiring diagrams I have for the system and there are no sub connections showing on the amp, just connections for the speakers already fitted.

The distributor told me that it's in one of the rear C pillars. There's also a sub woofer control in the MMI.

There is definately no sub in the C6 A6. But where are the sub controls in the MMI located? dam I have everything ready to hook up just need to know where!

Well, the controls are below the bass, treble and balance, and if I don't have a sub in the car, it sure makes a great fake. I don't have the Bose system either.
