What's up with the mirror on the passenger side that occasionally is found in a slightly different position from what I have memorized in memory 1?
I have advanced key and in the MMI the seat adjustment is set to ON so to store the current settings in the key. I only use one key, so how come the mirror changes position?
Could it be that after a reverse it doesn't fully return where it is supposed to?

....and so far no fix that I am aware of.

Mine does the same. Aggrivates the #$%# out of me but a rather minor problem in light of things.

Yes I read something about it but I thought it was a different problem. I agree with you, I had many more problems more serious than this but finally they seem all fixed. (apart from the mirror that is).
Did anyone do anything about this?

I can't find my post about it, so I'll briefly recap. The mirror module has built in tolerances for both the motors and these can lead to the mirror not returning itself properly. Have these tolerances set to zero and the problem goes away. An engineer from Germany flew in to look at my car and fixed it for me.

I did the following: Manually adjusted the mirror a bit out of whack, and pressed the memory button again. It came back to where it belongs.

I'll ask for that to be done at next service. I've been in enough in the first nine months...

Last month at 15k service, Carlsen Audi claims cannot repeat problem and never heard about this one at all.

I am too busy to hang around to show the service adviser. I have the car for 14 months now and have seen it so many occasions (not always).

Coupeboy got it resolved but Audi should have a TSB out on it.
