I am having hard time to decide between buy A6 Avant and get it in few weeks or days or order the Q7 and get delivery in June.
I did a test drive of the A6, it's really a great car and drive very well.

we went a6 avant. Glad we did, it's just a fantastic car. That 3.2 motor is fabulous.

In the same boat. Only get the Q7 if you must have seating for 7 and/or moderate off road/towing capabilities. First year Audi made in the Touarag plant could have some issues, and even with the V6 will be a gas piggy. The one thing that's tough to swallow is the price premium for the A6. The Q7 with a 280 HP engine and "more" vehicle, sounds like it will be around $7k cheaper than an A6. I'm hoping there will be some leftovers towards the end of summer.

Avants are relatively rare, inventory usually pretty low, so your discounts will be below what a comparable sedan would give you.

But it's still worth it. We love ours, and I often sneak it out of the garage when my wife isn't using it. It's a different kind of driving =)
