I haven't been able to drive the sport suspension, and since my wife will be driving the car 3x as much as I will, I'm inclined to go with regular suspension. But if I wait for MY06 (very likely), there's the adaptive air suspension option for $2K+. I really don't know much about it, other than Audi's marketing language for the A8. Obviously, nobody here has an A6 with it (yet). But my impression is that it's considered a good deal. How do we know? I saw the thread that said something to the effect of all of the (professional) reviewers say go for the adaptive suspension, but I didn't see any references to specific reviews. What do folks know about it?

Thanks.

was very cool. I would definitely get it if the '06 has the same suspension as the '05. I find my stock '05 to be a bit firm on rough roads. It would be nice to soften it up for NYC streets. I believe you can set it to auto mode and let it choose what's best for you.
