...on the 18" wheels? I cannot believe while reversing into a parallel parking spot I ripped the side wall of one of my tires on the 18" wheels. I know one cannot fix sidewall damage and unfortunately this one cut deep into the tire. Any ideas on where I can get a new one and the cost?
Thanks In Advance

patient. If you damaged the rim, personally I'd just use the full-size spare in the trunk and get whatever fits and is cheapest as a replacement spare rim.
Tires aren't that expensive...<$200 to match OEM tires.
Great opportunity to upgrade to new tires/rims!

....for the suggestion. It was only the actual tire on the rear passenger side, rim is untouched which is what made it so surprising.

$279 for the tire. Once installed and taxes it came to $323. They had a hard time locating the tire as apparently it is completely new and on backorder from Michellen.
Amusingly, when I first called various tire dealers and gave them my tires specs (Pilot HXMX M4 245/40 R18) they said I had it wrong that it must be a HXMX SP (I believe), as Michellen had told them. Once they verified the specs with Michellen they finally said it was right and the error was made due to the tires being brand new. My tire dealer found one tire in NJ and had it shipped up here to Boston. My advice, take care of your tires!!
An Audi dealer where I had my car serviced told me they provide tire and wheel insurance for one's car for $350. One had to signup for this coverage plan prior to owning the car for 90 days. Needless to say I will now be purchasing this coverage plan as it would have paid for its self with my mis-hap.
Happy Driving
