I drove these couple of days using the Sport Mode instead of Drive. Its more fun and am thinking of driving in S from now on. Also noticed the mpg drop from 18.x to 14.x. Any opinion from you guys out there?

I decide to try this after test driving the 530 in Sport Mode at the C&D Test Editor for a Day program. I wished they allow me to test drive the A6 on their mini track.

I use D for regular driving, but when I want to be more aggressive, I use S. I like the feel of S a lot better, but the mileage hit is not something I want to have on a regular basis.

Currently in my C5 2.7T
I usually use D for putzing around town...
Use S when passing/merging on freeway or just want to feel the power.....And enjoy the rush!!!

but who cares...the car is more fun to drive.....

The V8 has prenty in D. S is great for blowing away the young punks in the civics (smile).
