Just traded in my Nokia for a Motorola RAZR. Very cool phone. Turned on the bluetooth and it immediately found the car and logged in. Some observations; I now can access my names on phone numbers on the MMI. I was not able to do that on the Nokia, but that may have been due to not saving the names to the SIM. I had to save to the SIM to move them over to the RAZR. Everything else works well, no loud tone during the call setup which was very annoying with the Nokia. BUT I cannot end calls about 50% of the time through the MMI. Even after the other party hangs up, the call remains up and I have to power off the phone, or turn off the bluetooth on the phone ( not advised while hurtling down the highway ) to get the call to drop. Anyone else using a RAZR? Do you have the same problem?

I've posted a good bit about this problem. Motorola has decided NOT to fix the issue. If the other party hangs up, 99% of the time you're okay. The call actually drops, but the phone doesn't accept the message that the car sends because it happens too quickly.

The RAZR works incredibly well, save for that one problem. There is no known workaround, other than turning off the RAZR or turning off the Bluetooth option on the RAZR. I suppose you can also have the car delete all Bluetooth pairings, but haven't tried this.

I would greatly appreciate it if you'd go to the Motorola support web site and complain, mentioning AudiWorld and the many RAZR users who would love to see a fix. I've decided to keep my RAZR based solely on audio quality and how well it works with my headset. It's one of the ONLY phones with a class 1 Bluetooth transmitter (100 feet rather than 30 feet...you'll actually get about 20 compared to the usual 5 feet).

My apologies, I had searched the A6 forum for RAZR and the messages you are referring to did not come up.

I appreciate the information, I am heading over to the Motorola support site now with my new found knowledge.
