I've got 2800 miles on it now and I love driving it.
It's been in for repairs twice already. The first time at 500 miles or so it failed to start. It turned out that there was a wire with a faulty connection to the starter. 3 days in the shop and that was repaired.
Then at around 2000 miles it seemed that the battery was draining and was not re-charging. It went all the way down to 10% and then stayed there for over a week. I brought it in and after 3 days they fixed it with an MMI software upgrade. There was nothing wrong with the battery.
Yesterday was the first time I drove in really wet weather and the only way I knew it was raining was because of the water on the windshield. The car drove as if it was on dry road. Very nice.
There are a few minor annoyances but frankly there's nothing even worth complaining about.
I enjoy the envious stares I get a traffic lights and when I'm picking up the kids at school. I enjoy the raw power under the hood. I like taking 2 lane exit ramps at 80MPH once in awhile. I like the comfort of the sport seats. Heck, there's so much I don't even want to list anymore.
This is a car I recommend highly. Maybe someday I'll take a picture of mine.
This weekend I'm going on a road trip and I don't even get to take my A6. It doesn't have a DVD player in it and I'm taking the kids away for the weekend so we have to take the SUV. At least they'll enjoy the ride :(
