I know that Audi stopped offering the rear seat for kids a few years ago but this is one of the most desired option I am looking for on my new station wagon. I plan to purchase it within the next 6-12 months but if Audi does not have it I'll go for a Volvo V70 or maybe even MB E350 .

It places kids in the rear crush zone in the case of a rear end accident.

Apperently MB and Volvo do not care about safety anymore...

have them as standard equipment. They can be deleted as part of a special order... Our 2004 E320 AWD wagon has them... but our kiddos are too small to use them..yet...
