I'm 85% proficient with my MMI/NAV/BT/Voice. PHEW!! Actually it's not that tough, but there are user-friendly issues. The trick is to have the time to read the manual.

Has anyone figured out how to get rid of the crosshairs on the map after you set them? Do you have to set the destination and then START and END the route guidance, or is there a faster way to get rid of them?

If anyone has questions about voice recognition, I'll able to field some questions very soon.

I'm so used to windows. You hit "return" to get rid of crosshairs, how intuitive is that?

Like I-drive is (IIRC).

I guess you didn't think of the return button like a back button on a browser. Intuitiveness aside, once you know, it's pretty easy ergonomically.

in the nav mode you have to hit the options button twice to go from route with stopover to route "without" stopover.

Yes, I'm here in Texas. Plus for all you C6'ers: us D3'ers have been using the MMI for over a year and a half.....we've learned a (very) few tricks ;-)
