Wife came back yesterday and decided she wanted to drive the A6 today. A lady ran a redlight and ....

The bodyshop guy says the bumper cover, hood and fender will have to be replaced, and I am just sure those parts are readily available.

Renea said that it was a wierd feeling. Considering the extent of the damage to the other car she was impressed that there was virtually no feeling of the wreck. She said that if felt like hitting a bump in the road.
The other car had to be taken away on a flatbed because of the extensive damage.

.....I feel less sorry for you than I do for myself. I hit another car from behind today, and I got more damage to my car than you did. However I need to have the exact same parts replaced as you do.
Since I'm in Europe it's more likely that the parts are available here than in the US. In fact I took the car to the Audi workshop just after the accident and they have placed the order for the bumper cover and the hood already.
I guess it's Votex time, now they are painting the car anyway! :o)
Good luck with your repair.

Women like shiny things.
You waxed the car to perfection.
She wants to drive it.
See?
You could have a clean storage room and a scuffeg Toureg right now...
Sorry to see the result, either way. :-(

your car was just SO shiney (from your wax job from the other day) that the other driver never saw it coming! The other driver must have thought, "well, it is clear, so I am going to run this red light."
Sorry about your damage. Best of luck with the repairs.
