with a manual tranny. It took a couple of years for the manual to show up on the C5 here. Not sure if and when we'll see it again.

Write to AoA (on paper) and ask for this to be offered. Mail does carry a lot of weight, as it indicates somebody took the time and effort to make their wishes known, and aren't just whining in general ;-)

We have been asked recently by AoA if we should continue to offer the Allroad here after Summer 2005.
2005 is supposed to be the last year for the Allroad until the Q7 arrives in early 2006.

Who knows, also have your salesperson write AoA about the stick!!

Then I'd stick the customer on the phone ;-)

Of course you've got screen the customer, to make sure they'll present their case well, and not come off like some kind of wingnut ;-)

i am looking at what I have in a Manual with the A4 at this time.
The 1.8T sells rather well in stick with more Quattro than FWD, however we I have one A4 3.0Q 6 speed that we have had for 2 months; it has the Ultra Sport and is Dolphin Gray, and well, it is still here.
This will be our only A4 3.0 with a manual.

So i guess that is why Audi is reluctant to bring the Stick on the new A6.

offer the 6 speed manual in BOTH the A6 3.2 and 4.2, just like the BMW 5 series.....even if you have to special order it.

I do not like the looks of the new 5 series, however if Audi does not offer a stick I will be forced to move back to BMW for my next car.
