I had some experience with the Audi car phone system in my 2002 A6 2.7T. It did not work properly and I would like to know if the bugs are worked out of the new A6 Bluetooth. My new vehicle will be here in mid Dec and the dealer wants to order the cradle for my new phone.
With the Bluetooth:
1) Will the phone stay turned on at all times even when the key is removed? (The previous system disconnected the phone when the ignition was turned off. You would shut down the car to refuel and when you turned on the vehicle you found a message from a caller you missed while refueling.)
2) When using the phone through the mike is communication clear? (Previous system was very difficult to understand at the receiving end.)
3) Are you able to unplug the phone and walk away from the car without being disconnected?
