How is the ride and handling, how is the navigation system, and is the power what you expected? How is the adaptive lighting at night? Hav eyou tried out the bluetooth phone system , how would you rate it? , I am seriously thinking of ordering a 4.2 (not for the engine just to get heated steering wheel and power tilt and telescoping steering wheel) fully loaded adn i mean with everything, execpt the rear air bags, i even want the solar moonroof. But i am not sure if Audi will decide a year later to come out with ventilated seats the adatpive suspension and adaptive cruise control (don't really care for the cruise control), and front parking sensors.

April/Verdegrrl's source directly from Germany says yes. But I don't know if that will be worldwide or overseas only. I would think worldwide, but who knows. I would also think that sports seats will be available as a stand alone option in addition to being included with the sport package on the 4.2 in North America once the air suspension becomes available on the A6, but who knows.

If they do decide to offer ventilation it will probably only be on the non-sport seats.

the '06 model year...I hope!!! Same for cornering headlamps and LED tail lamps. Haven't heard a word about the ventilated seats or adaptive cruise control.

cornering headlamps? Also, thought that LED tail lights were also available as an option on one of the new A6's?

On the audi.usa site, under Build your Audi, the "Premium Package" (btw, $3,000 on the A6 3.2) includes "Bi-xenon adaptive headlights". Are you saying you can't get the premium package now or that the package comes without the adaptive headlights?

Thank you.

The adaptive bi-xenon headlights are just that. Adaptive meaning that they turn with the steering wheel and bi meaning that they play both sides. It actually means that the xenons are the high beams and the low beams. There are also halogens within the housing to flash the SOB doing 50 MPH in the left lane. You can see both in the picture. LED tail lights are also standard on boh the 3.2 and 4.2.

...the headlights are bi-xenon adaptive headlights. All of Audi's xenon lights self-adjust so it would be stupid to make a point of it. The adaptive lights are the one's that will "turn" with you.

Also, when I drove the 4.2 it am pretty sure it had the LED tailights.

The suspension is about the same as (just a slight bit softer) than my D3 A8 L in dynamic mode. The cornering lamps are standard on the 4.2 (not too many twisty roads in FL) but from the few times on twisty roads they provide much better illumination than standard xenons. No nav on this car but it would be the same system as the D3 which is avg. compared to most DVD systems. Audi seems to not want to put as much information on the DVD to reduce the time it takes the system to relay information. The graphics are first rate however and the speed is faster than most (but again at the sacrafice of details). I finally played around with the phone today and get the same sound quality (like a speaker phone to receiving end of the call) as the OnStar personal calling on the A8 but do not yet have a cradle so the charger still has to be utilized for the time being. US C6's have partial LED Tail lamps. the top strip is led and functions as the brake and turnsignal. The amber light for RoW cars is eliminated and filled with silver behind the clear lens. The engine is great as it should be. Smooth and linear as on the A8 with 300 lbs less to tug around. I have C6's with Air Sus. showing on the logs for JAN SOP. The C6 A6 4.2 Sport is a phenominal car. My favorite ponits:

Exterior and interior styling are amazing. The grill suits it well and the car has a massive presence to it. Love the new driver oriented layout with the interior with special touches like the glove box release and of course the new style key. No more asking what kind of VW do you have?

And for the speculation about future options, Ventilated/ Massage seats will be available but no time given yet. No word yet on Adaptive cruise on if or when it'll be offered.

I would guess for MY2006. At the latest, MY2007, to meet buyer and market demands.
