Heard there is a major problem with the 3.2 FSI and Audi is not shipping them out. Anyone else heard anything.
On another note, check out the new A6 in person today and it's HUGE. Biggest boot that I've seen. Very very nice car.

And what exactly is/are the problem(s) with the 3.2L (actually, 3.1L despite the 3.2 designation) FSI V6 on the new A6? Any problems with the 4.2L V8 on the new A6? I hope not as the V8 is the better engine, IMO.

I don't know the details but this is from the dealer. I went to check on the pre-order status as I really like the car but very disappointed to find that only the 2.4 multitronic (non-q) and 4.2Q is available. I questioned him why and that's what he told me. Could be the FSI because the other 2 engines are not FSI. Anyhow it may be different from you guys in the US. Audi always is a bit slow when they convert their car to RHD, although I cannot think of a reason why there will be a difference betw LHD & RHD in terms of engine.
