Just got my letter from AoA. My car is at KMD tuning right now having been fitted with V3's. So need this $ right now even though it won't be coming for at least 60 days! But so what. I'll wait for the check riding on KW's. I will definitely be buying an R8, Audi has restored my confidence!

Unless you paid for some previous DRC repairs, I don't see them telling us they will reimburse for after market systems.

If your car has leaking DRC shocks right now. I would stop the KW install and let Audi replace the DRC. Read the letter again. Audi will make a replacement now if a car has a failed DRC.

Put your money back in the pocket and get the DRC replaced today.

From what I can read is that they will replace the current shocks with an improved set. Due to low volume of parts, it may take until August to get the parts to the consumer.

If your DRC system was fixed/replaced by another stock DRC system, non aftermarket suspension system, you can get that replaced reimbursed, and still get the new DRC shocks when they become available.

If you are replacing your DRC system for aftermarket, I would bet that AoA won't give you anything.
