new to the RS6 forum, but been on audiworld for a long time
Looking into a 'new' car and ran across this one on ebay...

Wondering if anyone knew anything about this one. Looks pretty clean and there are low miles. Wouldn't mind picking it up if it is truly clean...

Call the VIN into an audi dealer and make sure the car has been serviced and has not had any strange reports. You can't believe the stuff I uncovered when I was looking. I have a black RS6 and it is gorgeous. I am not a black car fan, but this one sparkles. Good luck.
Never thought of that, but I will give it a shot...
Thanks

I would never buy a car without the dealer running the VIN.

It doesn't hurt to have a dealer run the VIN, but unless I'm mistaken, I don't think Audi will CPO a car with any major problems. Certainly not with any title/mileage issues. This looks like a good deal, go for it! I wouldn't pay the BIN though. It's not only a buyers market for houses, but cars too (certainly for high-end luxury/sport cars anyway). Go for it, join the RS 6 brotherhood :)

Not sure where you're located, but this one is on the East coast:

stampeding to the slaughter house. I'll hang back sitting here on my sack of seed and let the others go first :)
Just called the dealer and the guys say that it only applies to the original owner...This changes a lot for me!

the policy in case I wanted to sell the car..it would be covered....so guess it depends on the policy? Mine is through Audi.

for $150 through Audi if i sold to an individual...if i sold it to a dealer they would not be able to pass it through. Older CPOs are still transferable though.

Better take a close look at the interior pics. There are huge issues with the dash finish, console finish, and vents. Ditto for the door jambs. It looks like they are all spray can finished. Could someone have repainted all these parts? Yeeks, beware
