and just don't have the flow for that :). i pity the fool that goes into this instead of a $25k accord.

Even with the higher than average maintenance costs- the more than unusually low current market price means one can purchase a beast currently and set funds aside for the maintenance with an acceptable cost/mile.

The result is the ownership of an unique fun machine.

repairs .. but it is one hell of a car, and introducing the alternative of an Accord suggests to me that you are on the wrong forum. If I were to buy, say, a new S6 for $80k, it would cost me roughly $50k after trade-in, would depreciate to $60k in a year, and give me less pleasure. I've convinced myself to stay with the RS6. And I just put RNS-E in it - woot!

was that I pity the person that goes into the RS6 but *should* have gone in for the new Accord. In buying and owning and DIY-ing Audis for a long time, *I* understand the $2k-$4k or more a year in maintenance. I just meant that someone that sees this instead of the new car and goes, "oh man, awesome," but doesn't know the car is going to be in for a surprise!

To give context, I've advised lots of people against used Audis because they expect their cars to be drive and forget cars.

Anyways, just blabbering :). Yes, I'd love to have the car :).
