More to figure out if my fuel sender is busted than anything haha

Driving to work today "Miles left in tank" read 380, Avg MPG 15.6. What's your Avg MPG and how many miles do you get out of a full tank?

when we drove back and forth to Road Atlanta..we got 21.8 ...that was pretty much freeway driving...in town around 19. But once the miles left to go gets under 100..it drops like a rock.

That seems AWFULLY high (though i really don't know) when I bought mine the gas gauge wouldn't show more than 3/4 of a tank full and read 280 MAX, then it would drop like a rock once it reached half full. After bedding the brakes a few times the fuel Gauge read full and showed 355, after driving a few days I filled up at the gas station (the gauge still read almost full with 355 left in the tank)...the tank took 9.5 gallons for 33 bucks (love cheaper gas!) does this seem right?

is most of my driving. Highway is around 20-21+ on long trips...stop and go is less. The car updates the mileage left based how you drive so if you are being aggressive it tells you way less and vise versa. Mine on a long trip will read 420 but after just city driving it seems to say 360 a lot as a starting point after filling up. Then drops rapidly on the estimates as i go. The actual gas gauge is very accurate though on mine.

40448 miles thus far requiring 141 tanks of fuel
Average of 14.862 mpg
Average of 285.7 miles per tank

This is everything from city to highway.

shown a high miles to go when filling it up and it goes to the full mark. What can I say...it gets a little better mileage when my husband drives it on a trip than I do. If I am screwing off with a heavy foot..it does make a different on the mileage....but the pay back is in the smiles..not the miles.....

itself dropping. Mine is rather even. In my old TT and Cabriolet not so much.

I've been keeping logs of my travels for years and have just sort of made it a regular thing to put in an entry every time I fill up.

But with my normal stop & go driving, I won't see 300 from a tank. If I reset the computer when on the highway, it consistently runs between 28-31mpg (if I keep the throttle smooth and under 80).
