reveals factory Audi GmbH-engineered 550 crank chip with reprogrammed 60/40 tranny differential as well...seat warmers also turn into butt coolers, disco ball drops from ceiling of car (for the michael jackson music of course) and it does your taxes, empties the garbage, and walks the dog...please be carful when engaging this move...side effects include dizzzzzziness, lightheadedness and overall sense of blood rushing from the front of your face to your toes...results may vary...speak to your doctor before taking this product....

dass goot!

a Rolls Royce turbo jet in the engine bay with an optional flux capacitor available. Audi struggled to develop a car that would surpass the previous RS6. Time travel seemed like the only logical remedy.

a full sized jack???

sorry...(just my own personal pet-peeve, I think the jack that came with my car is even scrawnier than the one that is in Randy's RS 6) *unbelievable*

I'm doing pretty good - staying out of trouble (mostly) ;-)

Randy used my jack once - never again! Actually, in it's current condition... not sure it could be used again! I think these things are meant to be disposable.

Almost back to full-speed, I still have my moments...

But I can always hop in my car and drive at full speed! yippee =)

There is a 50% chance that the C6 RS 6 will be the only version of the C6 A6 to have the longitudinal 7-speed DSG. The exceptionally low production volumes of the RS 6 make the longitudinal DSG highly feasible for that car. The longitudinal DSG is very, very expensive due to being very new technology and a whole bunch of other things (too many to mention here). FWIW, the C6 RS 6 will be 100-300 pounds lighter than the C6 S6.

$80 bucks but takes 5 weeks on a slow boat from Dresden.

7-speed DSG would make the RS6 unbeatable but Audi can't afford to price the car over $85K.

If it can absolutely DOMINATE the M5 and E55/E63 or whatever they have out at the time, they can sell it for over $100k.

It's not price point that is the problem, it's the overall performance.

If they made it weigh less, more powerful (s/c or turbos would be smart to offer for the snow country crowd), and installed the DSG with perhaps a 30-70 F/R adjustable torque bias, I think they'd have a healthy pool of buyers, even at $100k.

BUT, it would have to get teh accolades from the motoring press with regard to the handling, power, and 'feel', while delivering performance stats that give all the desk jockeys that buy them 'supreme sedan status' over their M5 and AMG driving brothers...
