View Full Version : Where is our ECU located on the RS6? On my old C5 A6 4.2 it was in the passenger foot well.

I'd be surprised if the ECU were anywhere other than up in the engine compartment like the S6...

.. you have to remove that piece of rubber and the cover for the hydraulic fluid etc (next to where the battery was on the 4.2)..the TCM is the one under the passenegr footwell..

to chip it, but someone pointed something out to me today and I need to find out for myself.

side but on the RS6 I believe it is on the driver's side. Confusing for what is essentially the same damn car.
