one side (passenger) of the engine gets hotter than the other? Yesterday, after a short (10 min) drive, I was wiping residue off the rotors and it seemed noticeably hotter around the pass side wheel well vs. driver's side. Why was I wiping residue? - because I had washed the car and then failed to drive it, leaving it in the garage for a few days, and rust accumulated on the rotors....made braking interesting for a few mins.

They have a million uses and actually help out quite a bit on track days.<ul><li><a href="http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&amp;vertical=TOOL&amp;pid=03 450466000">Clicky</a></li></ul>

reasons. None I can think of though since it's a pretty symmetrical engine in terms of exhaust, turbos, intercoolers, etc...

just above the wheel well .. there isnt one on the drivers side.. I noticed this when it was raining as it let alotta street water splash up into the engine bay which I then had to clean..

the hot air is given an easier path out on the unobstructed side. If you look, you will see..
