Right-front wheel bearing replaced. (Harmonic noise re-appeared after left-front bearing was replaced a month ago.)
Audi Advantage.

Driver's door lower trim (which had separated at the rear edge and rattled badly) replaced (including paint). Audi Advantage.

Right-rear wheel refinished (pretty messed up by prior owner): EXCELLENT job! Absolutely indistinguishable from wheel original finish. Just perfect. $125

Service advisor, Norberto, is 100% first-class. His personal standards for paint work had him reject two body-shop paint jobs on the door trim. I told him to treat the car as if it were his, and he did!

Gratuitous photo of the McGrath service allroad:

While my car was in for service, the check-engine light came on. The diagnosis led them to replace a purge valve.

I'm a mechanical idiot. What's that valve do?

of air in the line from the frothing. Well documented with RS6's. I've been told if the lines were tied down tight there would be no vibration, which in turn causes the frothing/air. Someone suggested zip tieing them down to the closest stationary object.

You can do a search here and check out my comments, straight from Audi, about 9 months ago or so.

I get it quite a bit. Pretty harmless but annoying nonetheless. I've had the line bled which rids it, but the moment you drive it "hard", it will come back.
