1. What is the inner and outter diameter of the rs6 exhaust at the point it connects to the rs6 downpipes?

2. Is the stock connector a 4" clamp that joins the downpipes to the exhaust or does the downpipes slide into the rs6 exhaust?

I am getting downpipes made for an allroad to mate the rs6 exhaust and need this info so I can have it connect. The ideal situation would be to get the dps to slide into the rs6 exhaust and use a clamp.

I don't believe they slide into each other. I believe it to be welded...but have not been under the car for pix yet.

Why do you wish to use clamps? Just weld the darn thing, so you don't have to worry about exhaust leaks.
