Just noticed what looks like a speaker in the passenger side B-pillar at about shoulder height. Suprised never noticed before - is this for Nav/phone? Seems odd to have on the passenger side and not the drivers side as in my previous S4's. Anyone confirm what this is for? Just curious...

Seriously, nene already has posted the definitive thread, which reaches pretty much the same conclusion IIRC. If you're a new RS6 owner, you should follow rs6.com as well as this forum IMO. There is some repetition, but it's not pervasive and each forum has its own virtues.

I only searched here on Audiworld and didnt find much info on that B-pillar speaker. (Not knowing it was an OnStar issue) I have been on this forum (A4, S4, TT) since before A4.org so it is just habit looking here first. thanks for the link over to RS6.com nene
