a rs6 owner for the past 17 months.
And sometime reader of the forums but have done no mods as of yet.
Was wondering if any of you have done any mods as far as chips ?
I am going to chip my rs6 either MTM/APR/OC T and will post any info I come up with to.
I also amd going to Germany on vacation to see my family and will try to buy a ECU for the rs6 there and see if it can work on a USA rs6.
I have seen a few talking about chips on diffirent forums like rs6.com and Florida boards where I live.
MTM is close to me and there is a close dealer for OC T as well.
I know APR is in Ala and are considering them.

Just looking for any additional info I can find and seen a couple posts recently and got my intrest going again.

A guy at the Sarasota dealer has offered chip choices to me on several occasions, including APR. As more time goes by, he has more to say re which brands seem to work better for the RS6. I don't recall his name right now, but can get it if you're interested.

Last year at Sebring the same guy actually seemed to lean towards recommending Champion Motorsport in Pompano Beach -- related to, but not the same as, the Champion dealership. Champion Motorsport has developed their own chips which they say they will guarantee against turbo failure. In the RS6, tho, the tranny seems more vulnerable than the turbos.

What part of Florida are you in? FYI I'm at 35K mi, not chipped yet, and I've been putting it off because the car seems to get faster as it ages! Also have warranty concerns, especially after seeing several chipped cars with blown trannies on this forum and elsewhere. Then again, some trannies have failed in stock form, so who knows? Abuse and/or hard driving may have more to do with it.

The guy at Suncoast praised MTM as the best when we first spoke a year or so ago. When I returned around December, he said there had been one RS6 that had a problem with MTM. I don't recall details. He said something similar about APR and, to my surprise, said GIAC's chip may be better for the RS6 -- from what he knew.

He has never mentioned OC.T, I didn't ask, and all I know about OC.T is what I've read on forums, which has been pretty good. One problem reported early on, but it was resolved IIRC.

let you know the results. I've installed cat-back exhaust with the OC.T chip(with trans chip too). Thought it was pretty powerful, especially on the highway. No other chips to compare it too though. This one this week also gets silicone hoses and fuel pressure regulator. Should be around 540 horse or so.

I would be interested to know the outcome.
I have been in contact with Bob a stratsmophere and are considering his chip.
